What is Facebook Analytics?

Different Types of Tabs
Overview Tab

Page summary: It gives your brief summary of your Facebook page performance. It contains metrics like page views, page likes, page previews, page likes, post reach, story reach, post engagement, etc.

Followers Tab
Followers tab is a tab that provides you with information about the followers of the page. It helps you know the number of followers that your page has gained over a period of time. It contains three sections in it:
Total page followers as of today: It tells you about the total number of followers your page has at present.
Page followers: It provides you data like the number of organic/paid followers your page has and the number of people who have unfollowed your page.
Where your page follows happened: It allows you to know about the number of followers that you gained over a period of time and the devices which were used by your followers to follow your page.
Likes Tab
Likes tab provides you with information about the likes of your page. It helps you know the number of likes your page has gained over a period of time. The tab has three sections in it:
Total page likes as of today: It tells you about the total number of pages likes that your page has as of now.
Page likes: It allows you to measure your page performance by providing you information like the number of organic likes, number of paid likes, and the number of unlikes that your page has.
Where your page likes happened: It tells you about the number of times your page was liked and the device used for liking your page.
Reach Tab
This tab allows you to understand the reach of your page. Using the tab, you can understand your posts reach, engagement, total reach, etc. The tab contains six sections:
Post reach: It tells you about the number of people who have seen your page post at least once. Using it, you can check your organic and paid reach on Facebook.
Stories reach: It tells you about the total number of people who have seen your stories on Facebook through organic/paid reach of your page.
Recommendations: It tells you about how many times your page was recommended in pages and posts by the people on Facebook.
Likes, comments, and share: It tells you about how many people engaged with your content on Facebook.
Hide, report as spam and unlikes: It will tell you about how many times your posts were hidden, reported as spam and unliked by people on Facebook.
Total reach: It tells you about your total reach on Facebook.
Page Views Tab
Pageviews tab allows you to know about the pageviews your page has got on Facebook. Using the tab, you can discover which section of your page is getting most views. You can also divide this data on the basis of age and gender, country, city, device, and traffic source. The tab has three sections:
Page views: It tells you about the number of times your page was viewed by people on Facebook.
Total people who viewed: It tells you about the total number of people who viewed your page.
Top sources: It tells you about the top sources which are driving visits to your page.
Page Previews Tab
This tab allows you to know about how many previews your page has got over a period of time. The tab has two sections:
Total views: It tells you about the number of times your page preview has been seen on Facebook.
Total people who previewed: It shows you how many people have seen a page preview of your page. You can also divide this data on the basis of age and gender.
Actions on Page Tab
This tab allows you to understand your audience’s behavior on your page. Additionally, you can also divide this data on the basis of different factors like age, gender, country, city, and device. The tab has five sections in it:
Total actions on page: It shows you who many actions people have taken over your page.
People who clicked the action button: It tells you about the number of clicks (Unique clicks) on your pages action buttons by People on Facebook.
People who clicked get directions: It shows you the number of people who have clicked on the “Get Directions” button of your page.
People who clicked the phone number: It shows you the number of people who have clicked on your “Call Now” button.
People who clicked the website: It shows you the number of people who clicked on the “Go to Website” button on your page.
Posts Tab
This tab allows you to get engagement data as well as understand your fan’s online behavior on your page. Using this tab, you can see the time when your fans are online, posts you have published on your page, and the best performing post of your competitors.
Events Tab
The events tab allows you to measure the performance of your events. Using this tab, you can measure the performance of all the events that you have posted on Facebook. The tab has four sections:
Budget: It tells you about the amount of money that you have spent on promoting your event on Facebook.
Reach: It shows the number of people who saw your event on Facebook.
Responses: It shows the number of people who have shown interest in your events.
Tickets clicks/ Tickets sold: It shows you how many times people clicked on the ticket link of your event to buy it on Facebook.
Videos Tab
