However, you do need to take out a little bit of your time to set up the voice profiles for all the members of your family. So, we have prepared an easy and detailed guide to help you set up the voice profiles on Alexa. Read on to make the most of this feature on Amazon’s voice assistant, Alexa.

How to Set up Alexa Voice Profiles on Amazon Echo?

Step 1: Start by opening the Alexa app on your mobile device.

Step 2: Open the menu and go to the Settings option at the bottom.

Step 3: Now, tap on the option named Accounts and to select Your Voice option.

Step 4: The above action will prompt you to select an Echo device. As a suggestion, mute all the Alexa speakers you might have around you.

Step 5: Now, you will be prompted to read out four phrases. Read them out loud enough, and tap on Complete to create your voice profile.

Also, remember that it will take about 20 minutes for the data to synchronize across your Echo speakers after you have created your voice profile.

Step 1: All you need is to have another member sign in to the Alexa app for your Echo speaker. To do so, either you can sign out of the Alexa app on your phone and ask the additional member to sign-in, or maybe this additional member can install the Alexa app on his/her mobile device.

Step 2: Once signed in, go to the Settings section as before, and tap the option named Your Voice under accounts.

Step 3: Now, your Echo device will prompt you to select a previously existing profile. Right below this prompt, you will find an option named “I am someone else,” tap on it.

Step 4: After this, follow the same procedure as above.

This action will create an additional voice profile and add it to the speaker. So, now you can get more tailored results from Alexa, while it is aware of who is who!
